Information

The 24mm exposed grid for our lay-in ceiling tiles: 3600mm main runners that hang from the soffit on wire, 1200 and 600mm cross tees that clip between them to set out the tile modules, and a 3000mm perimeter wall angle that finishes the edge. Every part is galvanised steel, in a white or an anti-corrosion finish.

Four parts, one grid

The 3600mm main runner is the backbone. It hangs from the soffit on wire at regular centres, through pre-punched holes in its web, and has slots for the cross tees.

The 1200mm cross tees clip between the main runners: each one forms the long side of a 600 × 1200mm module, or splits it for the 600mm tees, which close each 600 × 600mm module. The end clips push into the slots without tools, so the grid goes together fast and stays square.

The 3000mm wall angle is an L-section screwed to the wall through its upstand at ceiling height. Its flat leg carries the cut tiles at the edge and hides the junction.

White galvanised or anti-corrosion

Every part is rolled from galvanised steel with a 24mm exposed face. Choose the normal white galvanised finish for dry interiors, or the anti-corrosion finish for pools, kitchens, changing rooms and humid or coastal areas. The finish is chosen on each part's FAB Supplies listing.

For our ceiling tiles

The grid carries 600-module lay-in tiles with a square or tegular edge, such as our stone wool and glass wool tiles in 600 × 600 and 600 × 1200mm.

Acoustic ceiling tiles

And for 3D ceiling tiles

Our 3D fin tile drops into one cell of a 600 × 600 or 1200 × 600mm exposed grid in place of a ceiling tile.

Which finish do I need?

The normal white galvanised finish for dry interiors; the anti-corrosion finish for pools, kitchens, changing rooms and humid or coastal areas.

How does the grid go together?
